I ran into a problem with defense editing, and it is not a glitch

It was a situation that happen in Advance unrated OCG, My wing dragon of ra reach 10,400 atk, and 10,400 defense. Editing the attack was not problem but editing the defense was a problem because the defense max at 9,999. I don't know why it is set up like that. He quit because he thought my browser crash, and I was just confused on why it was set-up like that. I do have issue with my browser crashing but now it is a lot better now it only tab crash when I play a duel in dueling book so I have time to go back in before the time run out, and then it does not crash for a 2 out of 3 duel. And sometime it does not crash at all. I don't know if it is the correct place to talk about this.
