Play fast and play warning

Post #1 by M112x » Fri Feb 11, 2022 9:49 am

I assume the problem of missclick can be resolved by this:

every player can choice 2 different kind of options:

automatic consense or manual consense. (for example automatic consense used during sessions on pc, manual consense for sessions on smartphone)

with automatic consense the game run as now.
with manual consense afther a choice a disclamer y/n authorized the move in the rispect of possible missclick.

every player will use the choice they prefer.

Most of dB UI isnt intended for small screens and some elements interact with just hovering the mouse. I am not certain dB working on mobile was intentional.
I personally don't see much of a purpose on having a confirmation option, but I am not sure.

It's a manual simulator, most misclicks can be resolved just by immediately reversing whatever you did, if they have a problem with that and call a judge, they will probably rule in your favor

in chess if you touch something you must play it. no missclick allowed

iirc in chess you do more than lifting a finger to move. It is much more easy to misclick in comparison to go and lift your hand and touch the piece by accident.
