Re: "Declare" button
if people dont know how to use specific buttons it's up to them to learn
also a guide line can be displayed somewhere in the rules or elsewhere it can be seen
if they dont know how to use them doesnt mean those buttons are useless , time to time as any other given thing

On top of that, you can easily by pass "slow play" as long as you communicate.
So you play convulsion of nature without the button?
I mean, it isn't that hard, I can easily just do /banish 9 over and over again (assuming nothing is in the banished zone, and if anyone wants to look at what is banished, I can show them my deck. But then again, I don't play that card, so I have no reason to even worry about that.

Didn't know getting banned from ygopro was possible but if you play in such slow ways on duelingbook when it's obviously easier to play in a faster way, then yes it will be slow play.
Lilith's green button lets you quickly choose 3 cards from your deck and then it reveals all 3 of them then sets 1 random one to your spell/trap zone while shuffling the rest into the deck. There is no longer any need to manually take the 3 cards out of your deck then roll dice to determine which card gets set to your field then manually put the rest back in your deck then manually shuffle your deck. That just takes up unnecessary time.
Imagine playing a combo deck and taking 10 minutes just to do your combo taking shortcuts, and then choosing to do things the long and slow way, thus making it take even longer to finish your combo for no reason.

Even if you don't play that card, what if someone else does? You really would rather banish your entire deck for convulsion of nature than just flip your deck with the click of 1 button?

It's more like I got banned from their discord, which won't let me play on ygopro anymore cause I made said "All furries must burn" in a jokingly way.
If I can do it manually, I will. End of story. If someone else wants to use the buttons, they can.
Also, I never continue combos unless I have the go ahead as I refuse to not give my opponent a chance to respond, even if it takes longer. I refuse to get a gameloss for it.

I went into the discord server myself and got the download links for you. You're welcome.

I don't think they want reposting of those download links though

That's their problem.
I have a Chromebook 3400, which means I couldn't download it unless "you install a compatible Linux distribution on Chromebook, this binary may work."
I have chosen Dueling Book because it's an alternative to playing anime decks. But if I could learn how to download EDOPRO & play custom cards there, it would really help me be at peace in playing a non-meta format.

In order to feel like not asking too much:
- I felt inspired to also learn the kind of coding you did to help other people playing Duelingbook. I just need to know if it's possible to make code that prevents me from looking at my cards.
- If that doesn't work. I only want to know what they mean of "a compatible Linux distribution" to be able to understand & download EDOPRO.
They appear to give some example Linux builds on the first bullet point so I would start there

Don't worry about "asking too much". Just ask and I will answer what I can.
The programming language I use is called javascript.
I'm not sure what you mean by "code that prevents me from looking at my cards". Are you saying you want cards in your hand, cards in your graveyard, your face-down banished cards, your cards in your extra deck, and your face-down cards on the field, to be hidden? If so, then how would you be able to play yugioh if you can't look at any of your own cards?
I think that's about Darkness'/Nightshroud's gimmick in the anime of needing another card just to look at his randomly rearranged backrow each turn

I'm assuming you're referring to these:
https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Yu-Gi-Oh!_GX_-_Episode_177
https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Darkness
If so then, why not just use coins/dice to randomly determine what Spell/Trap to activate instead of "hiding" them?
"During each End Phase, Set all face-up Trap Cards you control, and randomly rearrange all cards in your Spell & Trap Card Zone." This part seems nigh impossible in DB, since the locations matter for Zero and Infinity.

So you play convulsion of nature without the button?
You know that back on dueling network people actually did in fact have to play convulsion of nature without a dedicated button?

I'm thinking you could just take all the cards you want to rearrange, put them in your hand, have your opponent pick 1 at a time at random to set, then repeat until you reset all of them.

You know, apparently judges on DuelingNetwork had banned people who used the card in Ranked or gave them a game loss or something.

There weren't really any decks that benefited from it and it took so much time to set up that using it is practically trolling.

I mean there was some strategies when using the card back then, just not a lot of options.

(November replay):
https://www.duelingbook.com/replay?id=647399-21834286 (randomization through dice rolls)
That was a good suggestion, I'll try that, when I re-create the archetype.
(I saw this post a month ago, and at that time, I didn't know what else to say)

I now have a new laptop (holiday gift) that is capable of downloading EDOPRO to try "Darkness" and "New Orders" (my best favorites). But I already changed my goal to using my new laptop for learning Arduino. Besides, taking a 5-month break on Yu-Gi-Oh! (starting February). May be a good choice for people that are waiting for the banlist to be fixed. Thanks for listening by the way.
