Part of being a competent judge is being mature and trustworthy enough to be given perms on the site. If you can't hold the same qualities as a judge why would you have the qualities to mod. So, before I have talked about using different judges for different tasks. For Example: If someone posts content on the main menu that warrants punishment, do you really need a fully qualified judge to handle this? Also, IF a function where you state your issue when making a judge call, you could us...
