This is a non issue

Hide and seek does not have a spell speed as it does not activate it just applies when the destruction occurs. Destruction happens for both cards at once and hide and seek with protect the beast monster similar to field barrier still protecting the field spell from heavy storm.

Honestly, I'm kinda surprised no one answered this question. DB must have adopted a randomization standard, so I don't see why not telling it.
