Well, you can check if you are looking for the correct email (if it is the same one associated with the account) if this is the case, check your spambox or Trash, sometimes it can be there. If that doesn't help, I suggest you create a new account with a new email.

I understand your point, however, creating a dueling system is not something so simple, it takes months and even years. The current administrators spend a lot of their time to keep the current system running 100%. This requires work. Maybe in the future your idea will be questioned again.
