conquistador and huaquero both are summoned as monsters (as well as a trap) which then activates their effect. If you have more monsters than your opponent does this effect get negated by mystic mine since it is technically also a monster?

One of my opponents brought up the fact that twin twisters destroys conquistador of the golden land before it is normal summoned therefore destroying it before it can activate its effect. Is this true?

If I have 'eldlixir of the scarlet sanguine' and 'golden land forever' facedown and my opponent activates a card effect that I am wanting to negate, can I chain link 1 'golden land forever' then chain link 2 'eldlixir of the scarlet sanguine' to negate that card? Or would I have needed to chain 'eld...
