2) Why 11,350 Cards? How do I make sense of it?

In my previous post Total Number of Legal OCG and TCG Cards in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel (As of 08/21/2021) I stated the number of playable cards: Total Number of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards in the World: 11,350 Cards Total Number of OCG Cards: 7,508 Monster Cards 2,164 Spell Cards 1,678 Trap Cards 11,350 Cards Tot...

In short the OCG players are using 341 more cards than we are. It should also be noted that because I didn't care to weed out any reprints or new versions of older cards the total card list includes those in the count in addtion to the uncensored and censored versions of cards.

This data was obtained from Dueling Book's card database. To be sure of accuracy I made sure to select the TCG bubble in the bottom of 'Deck Constructor' and I made sure to also select TCG in the 'More Options' section of the search engine; from here I painstakingly set the levels to be identical in...
