I really wish I knew what deck i'm voting for Brilliant and Desires to be in.

For example it would be more beneficial for a deck like World Chalice to have two Brilliant Fusions and two Garnets but no Desires.

As Kalinowski said the card says Spell/Traps you control. Since Field cards are spells they are also protected as long as you control Dark Magician the Dragon Knight.

Judging from the picture you gave alone, it doesn't show anything whatsoever about iKiira being a catfish. All it shows it that the person in the picture shown isn't iKiira. Besides, plenty of people can lie about their gender. Lying about your gender wouldn't exactly be called "catfishing"...

A small suggestion: I recommend you add Apprentice Illusion Magician. She doesn't take up your normal summon and lets you search through your deck for a Dark Magician card.
